Waterproof Flooring

Visit Adds Carpet One Floor & Home in Bellflower to take advantage of our selection of waterproof flooring.

Waterproof Flooring Options

There are few truly waterproof flooring options available on the flooring market, but at Add's Carpet One Floor & Home in Bellflower, we do everything we can to find the floors our customers are looking for. Being a California town, many of our customers look for flooring that can resist water. We carry luxury vinyl and WPC brands and products that are made to be 100% waterproof.

Best Waterproof Flooring

There are two types of waterproof flooring options available, luxury vinyl and wood polymer composite (WPC.) Luxury vinyl normally comes as a water resistant option, but can be made to be entirely water proof. Wood polymer composite, or WPC, flooring is a completely waterproof product. The core of these products is made from materials that do not absorb moisture like PVC composite and limestone dust.

An important point we want our customers to know is that even though the flooring itself is waterproof, your subfloor is not. We also want our customers to know there is a major difference between waterproof flooring and water resistant flooring. Water resistant flooring means that the floor can withstand water longer than other flooring options. The surface of the flooring may be the water resistant component, but if the core becomes exposed to water then it can be absorbed and damage both the flooring and subfloor.

Waterproof and water resistant flooring can be installed anywhere in your home like kitchens, bathrooms, and even mudrooms. Make sure you stop by our showroom to check out our waterproof options.
